Terms and Conditions

    • We will have a 45 minute one to one session each week through messaging or video chat using Signal (please ensure this is installed and working ahead of our session). This will be at the same time and on the same day every week to ensure consistency and availability for yourself, and my other clients. Please do not book alternative timeslots on the calendar-they belong to other clients.
    • If you are unable to attend a session, please let me know as soon as possible. Cancellations made with less than 48hrs notice, or non-attendance will incur a cancellation/no-show charge of £25. Sessions must be paid in advance no later than 48hrs before the session time.
    • If there are repeated no-shows or persistent cancellations, we would need to discuss this. If you would like to continue our sessions, we would then need to create a new counselling agreement going forward, or alternatively, terminate the agreement.
    • When preparing for a session, please think about your surroundings and plan ahead. Make sure you have access to a quiet place where you won’t be interrupted or overheard and there is a good internet connection. If this is not possible, contact me as soon as possible to let me know so that we can re-book or switch to live chat, or you may be charged cancellation fees if the session cannot go ahead. If you are having trouble with your connection, let me know as soon as you can so that we can try to reschedule if possible.
    • Sessions will not be able to proceed with any other person(s) in the room unless this has been discussed and agreed between us beforehand and they have been specifically invited. If a third party has been present without my knowledge or consent, the agreement may be terminated.
    • If you need to contact me between sessions, to let me know of changes to appointments, or to book an extra session, then please do so via your Kiku account so all your data is in one place If for any reason you cannot access Kiku, you can reach me at hello@rebeccaantrim.co.uk, but please use Kiku as a priority.
    • Sessions will be block booked by Rebecca, you will receive a weekly reminder email with a payment link so you can ‘pay as you go’. It is your responsibility to cancel sessions when you need to. Each session must be paid for in advance (ideally on a Monday, if possible) or it will not take place.
    • If we become disconnected during the session, please let me know what’s going on as soon as you can by emailing hello@rebeccaantrim.co.uk
    • I will wait for you for fifteen minutes at the beginning of a session, or ten minutes after becoming disconnected. If you have not joined/re-joined the session after this time, then the session will be closed, and you will need to rebook a new one.
    • I understand that you may feel the need to swear sometimes, however, if you become verbally abusive or threatening directly toward me, I will give one warning before ending the session.
    • Although I respect your privacy and protect your personal information, I need to tell someone if you or someone you know is at risk of harm. If I need to discuss my concerns for your safety with someone else, I’ll speak with you first where possible and explain to you why I am sharing that information and what happens next.
    • If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, contact emergency services, such as the police.
